I love the act of written expression! I am a writer at heart – I use lists, love notes and have been known to journal for hours.

I have numerous joys in my life; my faith in God, my family and my home.

Abundant Home Living  is “For Those Who are Passionate About Their Homes and Families” – which describes me perfectly! If you are passionate about your home and family; I hope this will be a place of joyful community, creative recipes. tips or ideas and thoughtful reading for you! I will include pictorial content that shows home making ideas and tricks, recipes and kitchen topics, Christ-like mindfulness, self care, updates on my “friends in the yard” (we have a big property and lots of living things)!

I am a homemaker by nature, although I have worked outside the home and worked from home, my favorite work is homemaking. I enjoyed the blessing of marriage for 13 years, I was widowed for 3 and am now the blushing bride of a very handsome, man of whom I absolutely adore! Recently we experienced “abundant chaos” while we remodeled our small farmhouse circa 1954 into a beautiful, warm and welcoming “modern” farmhouse! Here we enjoy bringing our 5 young adult children and extended family together for meals, holidays, birthdays and really for any reason, to get together and celebrate our Abundant Life!

I am most at home in my kitchen! I LOVE to prepare food for others; I consider it my love language. Creating colorful, nutritious meals that produce satisfied bellies and healthy bodies. I have experience as a caterer, recipe creator, and home chef for as few as two and as many as 300. I am passionate about creating meals and will include these recipe ideas for you to enjoy in your own home with those you love.

I have lived in Cobb County, Georgia my whole life and many of my posts are “local”. There is always something going on in our active community! Cobb county is home to many creative artists, mommy entrepreneurs, craft breweries, local farmers markets, farm to table restaurants, and historical parks. There is so much to write about as we enjoy Abundant Home Living in our community.

As we grow this community, I will open the door to a Market which will include “A Few of My Favorite Things“! If you have products that you would like to be featured in a blog post or in a vlog, let me know! I am always amazed at the innovation and creativity of others!

In 47 years, my life has been full of love, growth, unforgettable experiences, unexpected tragedy and redeeming joy! The term ABUNDANT describes every moment of it and God’s provision for me has been evident at every turn! I have learned that everyone “has a story” and this is my way of sharing mine. I encourage you as a reader to share your thoughts – as I know that YOU have a story too! My hope is that as this community of readers grows we will learn from each other to increase our joy, share our knowledge and grow in passion for our homes and families!
