I awoke this morning to some joint pain in my shoulder and hip. I can usually trace my diet back a few days prior and discover that I have either consumed too many carbonated drinks (seltzer water) or surrendered to my sweet tooth too often. For me, these are triggers. Normally I feel great in the mornings right out of bed, but if my joints are sore, I use a few methods to feel better. So what is my #1 method to decrease my pain? FOOD! “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”
Here comes the recipe, in it I use what I lovingly call The Anti-Inflammatory Trinity: Ginger, Turmeric and Garlic. These nutrients are known super foods that reduce inflammation, therefore relieving pain and as a super bonus reduces disease.
