This dish honors the depth of flavor that lies in traditionally used Chinese spices. It includes veggie favorites, has quick preparation, and is inexpensive to add to your weekly menu.

  • 1/4 cup Red Onion, slivered or grated
  • 1 tbsp Minced Garlic fresh clove or jarred
  • 1 lb Ground Meat Chicken or Beef
  • 2 tsp Pink Salt divided
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tsp Curry Powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger, ground
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon, ground
  • 1/2 cup Purple Cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Brussel Sprouts, quartered
  • 1 cup Carrots, whole - sliced diagonally
  • 4 cup Preferred Starch Brown Rice or Noodles
  • Garnish Green Onions, Water Chestnuts, or Almond Slivered
